Around The World Food
The Around The World Street Food cookery course is proving to be a popular choice - with something for everyone and some great ideas for party food.
The recipes for this course are inspired from dishes you might find on street corners around the world and form a varied menu of dishes inspired by worldwide cusine.
The final menu depends on seasonal produce available at the time and the whim of the chef! The recipes feature a range of dishes that can be used as starters, main courses or party food!
To give you an idea...................recipes for previous Street Food courses have featured a selection of the following: Thai Chilli beef in Lettuce Wraps, Spanish Tortilla, Italian Bruschetta, Caribbean Jerk Pork, Fresh Spring Rolls, Hot Zhug Soup Shots, Huevos Rancheros Para Fiesta [a Mexican feast dish using spicy cooking chorizo], Jalapeno Cornbread, Moroccan Lamb or Chicken Brochette, Vegetable Rice Paper Rolls, Malagueta Prawns, Annatto Lamb in Pepper Boats, Hot Chocolate Shots, Indian Paneer Kebabs, St Clements Ice Cream, Cajun Crab on Tostaditas, Banana, Apricot and Almond Pastries, and much, much more!

What our guests say about this course.....................
Hi Sarah, Just a quick line to say 'Thanks!' for another super day on Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it again and Neil did too. Not sure when I will do another yet....but I'm sure it won't be too
long. The only problem will be who comes along with me - Neil or Sarah!! Thank you again. Regards Barbara [who came on the Fish course with her daughter-in-law and then on the Street Food course
with her son]
Thank you very much for the cookery course on Saturday - I enjoyed it so much, I couldn't stop talking to Lee about it when I got home. Which is just as well, as it was Lee's birthday present to
me! I even tried out the strawberry shrikand on my friends on Sunday night. Nobody had heard of "shrikand" before, so I had to describe it to them, got a few raised eyebrows, but once they tasted it
they absolutely loved it! Plus the added bonus it was a lot healthier than the key lime pie which was the other dessert I made for the less adventurous guests. I intend on trying out all the recipes
you taught us on my friends over the summer. And I am sure I shall be back for another cookery course, I have already got a friend interested in coming along with me!
from Angela [who then returned for an evening course and is due to join us for Fish in May 2009]
