Spanish Tapas Cooking Course
This cookery class is inspired by Spanish cookery and Tapas. A full day cooking class is also available for groups of 6 or more.
Introducing fresh, locally sourced ingredients alongside more exotic speciality foods. on this course we will create lots of small dishes of food that are ideal for sharing.
Pimientos de Padron [Spanish peppers fried in olive oil and sea salt, pictured below left] are featured when in season and available.
Other recipes are chosen based on season and any known preferences where possible.
To give you an idea.........on the past the menu has featured a selection of the following [changes according to seasonal availability of produce]:
Marinated Manchego Cheese, Potato & Ham Tortilla, Vegetarian Tortilla with Herbs & Cheese, Chorizo & Garlic, Marinated Mushrooms, Steamed Courgette in a Herb
Dressing, Albongdigas [Meatballs] with Spicy Tomato Salsa, Roasted Vegetable Dip [peppers and tomatoes], Bunuelos [cheesey puffs], Chicken with Garlic & Paprika, Asparagus with
Ham and Cheese, Fresh Garlic Bread, Sticky Honey-baked Chicken, Mushrooms in a White Wine Sauce, Prawns with Chilli and Garlic, Squid in Tomato & Garlic Sauce, Octopus in Red
Wine Sauce and many other varied dishes.
