Moroccan Cookery Course - Cookery Days in Nottingham - spices

In this taster class you will learn about and use typical flavourings from across the Mediterranean Sea. We will create dishes that are easily transferable to your cooking at home.

We will have a quick introduction to the kitchen and menu before beginning hands on cooking of the recipes as a group. We usually cook a range of quick Mediterranean recipes featuring flavours taken from this list: fresh seafood, Italian cheeses, pesto, spanakopita, Greek feta, Moroccan Lamb Kefta, dips, sauces and pastries.

Mediterranean cooking is a fusion of flavours from southern France, Spain, Italy, not forgetting Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily, Turkey, North Africa and Morocco. We cover a range of dishes from all these places on these courses.

At around 8.30pm the group will grab a stool each and enjoy a buffet-style tasting of everything prepared.
