Please contact Sarah if you have done one of our previous Indian menus and she will guide you to a date for one of the new menus. These courses are hands on not demonstration and are ideal for men's birthday or Christmas presents, for couples who want to improve their cookery skills together, and also for individuals who enjoy spicy food.
Popular with everyone, these courses are especially useful as a gift for men. It is not unusual for some dates to consist of 8 men [who have all been given this cookery course as a gift and have never met prior to the course] and us. Often wives get together and send husbands in groups as well. Some dates are more evenly balanced with men and women or with mainly couples - please ask if you specifically want a men-only or more mixed course.

Although we can cope with beginners on most of our courses - it really helps if you tell us in advance so that we can guide you to the best choice of date. Please contact Sarah on 0115 9160861 if you do not have much experience in cooking Indian food already.
Many people who enjoy Indian cookery are often tempted by the chilli cookery course as well - the Cooking with Chillies course is available as a full day option too.
What our guests say about these courses.....
Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Indian cookery course last Saturday, everything was excellent, can't fault anything!. We have guests round this coming Saturday so hopefully the prawn
curry will be as good as before!! :) Thanks again and I'm sure I will be back again soon! Best wishes, Simon
Hi Sarah. Andrew thoroughly enjoyed the Indian cookery course, he was really pleased with everything that he made and thought everything tasted great. He said it was the best present I ever bought him. Thanks again. From Cath, who bought her husband an Indian Cookery Course for Christmas, then Cooking with Chillies the next year and then he came back again for a new Indian menu with his brother
Hi Sarah. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Indian Cookery day last week. I particularly enjoyed the structure of the day as it gave us the opportunity to see lots of dishes being prepared and cooked, the interaction with the other participants was also great. I've prepared a few at home....all of them successful - Naan Bread.....plain and a fab peshwari naan (didn't overflour them this time...honest!), Mango Chutney, Fish Curry, a version of Creamy Vegetable Curry. The day gave me the impetus to start experimenting and hopefully create a few dishes of my own (on the theme naturally). Thanks again & kind regards. Kevin
Thanks Sarah. I enjoyed the day.....Will be trying out the pakora, bhaji starters and chutneys. Will also try the fish curry as I thought that was the nicest dish of the day and it makes a nice change to have fish, indian style. Very informative about the chilli's etc. as well...... John
The final menu for each course is subject to change [due to produce availability] and I also amend the menu to accommodate allergies/major dislikes where possible.
