Chilli and Chocolate Recipes - Chile or Chilli?

Love chillies? Can't resist chocolate? Been wondering how flavoured Hot Chocolate is made?

This course had its debut on Saturday 10th March 2007 and included Chilli Hot Shots, [an unusual chilli flavoured hot chocolate drink] Butterfly Prawns in Chilli Chocolate Sauce, Chocolate-Chilli Glazed Pork, Habenero Ice Cream and Chocolate-Chilli Souffle with raspberry coulis! We also cooked some chilli-flavoured dishes without chocolate - to balance out the meal - including Red and Green Layered Pesto Dips, Crispy Pitta Dippers, Chipotle Cheese Straws and Roasted Sweet Potatoes with chilli, rosemary and garlic.

Combining chillies and chocolate is a superb way of enjoying the unique flavours of some very different chillies while indulging in a little luxury!

If you have already attended the Cooking with Chillies course then this is a great sequel as no recipes are repeated. If you haven't been on the Cooking with Chillies course then this course can be used as an alternative introduction to chilli cookery.

There are hundreds of varieties of chillies and even more chilli [or is that chile?] recipes! The Chilli and Chocolate course will give you confidence in tackling more chilli dishes from around the world.
